What is Meditation and Mindfulness?

Meditation is a way in which we can draw our attention to our internal awareness, and withdraw from external thoughts. When we learn to calm the mind, we access a deeper part of ourselves that is much more soul lead helping to alleviate any need to be anything than who, what, where we are.

My meditation wellbeing classes have been written to incorporate gentle layers of therapeutic techniques to enhance relaxation, connection and wellbeing work so that you can continue to benefit in and outside of class.

What are the differences between the classes?

My Meditation Classes are grouped into three main categories that include Beginners Meditation, Mindful Guided Journeys and Mindfulness Classes.

The Beginners Meditation Classes are a workshop format combining practical knowledge with a new subject each week building confidence with your intuition and learning some of the many different ways you can meditate.

Guided Meditation Journeys are wellbeing escapes, these are 45 minutes of pure relaxation where you can access gentle wellbeing in a variety of serene landscapes.

Mindfulness Classes are offered as a general Mindfulness workshop where you will learn what it is to be mindful and learn to establish your mindfulness practice at home, This supports a more mindful approach to life in general.

What are the different class subjects?

My classes are held on a Wednesday evening and include:

  • Beginners Meditation
  • Guided Journeys for relaxation
  • Guided Journeys for stress
  • Guided Journeys for Healing
  • Mindful Moments for anxiety
  • Mindfulness Practice

I provide all mats, cushions, blocks, blankets and water in my classes. Chairs are also available if you prefer. If you have any specific comfort needs you are also welcome to bring any equipment that could be of benefit to you.

What should I expect?

My belief is that Wellbeing Meditation is for everyone -we can all do it. It is simply learning how to calm the mind, connect to ourselves and believe in our intuition, it just takes a little guidance and training that’s all. This is why My classes are offered in 6 week blocks, to allow you the time you will need to learn this properly for yourself. When you have and begin to integrate this into our everyday life, who knows how it will translate. Many describe this as an upgrade in their lifes’ experience, appreciation and gratitude, positivity, deeper connection with the natural world, less concerned with the small stuff.

How long are these sessions?

All meditation and mindfulness classes run throughout the year on Wednesday evenings 7-8pm.
Prices vary according to the number of sessions per subject.
