When we feel anxious or overwhelmed our minds spiral out of control, activating chemical reactions around the body and making us feel worse. By learning some simple Mindfulness Meditations tools you can feel confident you’ll have some ways to help yourself when these moments arise.

How will These Classes Help me?

These Mindfulness meditations classes are specifically written to help you have some go to tools in the times anxiety and overwhelm arise. Over the four weeks you will learn different ways to use Mindfulness Meditations to help you to calm the fight or flight responses, ground your energy to this moment and feel emotionally much more in control.

Do I need to have completed the Mindfulness Meditations Classes first?

No……There is no need to have completed any meditation classes ahead of this set, these are guided mindfulness meditations and so are open to all. All I ask is that you come with an Open Heart and Mind ready to embrace new ways of being.

Do I need to bring anything?

Comfy clothes, I provide all equipment needed (mats, blankets, cushions) however if you have any specific comfort concerns you are welcome to bring equipment you may benefit from using. Chairs are also avaliable if prefered.

How do these classes work and what’s included?

Over the four weeks of this Mindful Moments for Anxiety set you will explore a variety of Mindful meditations experiencing them in class and then having the detail of the meditations to continue practicing at home- learning to encorporate these new tools into your life in your own way.

These classes include-

  • Mindful Relaxation using the Senses
  • Mindful understanding and prioritising of emotions
  • Mindful pacing using the breath
  • Mindful Gratitude practices

How do I get involved?

You can book your place easily on the website ticket service, (see the ticket above for soonest dates or go to the events page for alternate options) simply choose the date you would like to join us and fill in the number of places you would like and press book. We offer these mindfulness meditations from our space at Mangreen Country House all details here.

I attended the meditation for beginners course with Cathy and absolutely loved it! I found this course informative and fun. I learnt so much, and have enjoyed practicing what I have learnt at home. We covered so much over the weeks, and having access to the meditations at home via the Green room website is great. I would highly recommend this course to anyone starting out on their meditation journey, or like myself use meditation regularly, but want to learn more and look at meditation in more depth. Cathy is so lovely and friendly and puts everyone at ease. She really knows what she’s talking about and it was a real joy to attend this course. Really looking forward to the next one.

I have just completed Cathy’s beginners meditation course and it is no exaggeration to say it’s changed the way I think forever. I signed up to the course a sceptical, practical, logical thinker who struggled with the very idea of meditation but desperately needed a way to take time out. Just completed The Beginners Meditation 2 course. Amazing! Led by Cathy, the guided meditations covered 6 very different fascinating topics. Cathy is warm, welcoming and inspirational. Her voice is perfect for guided meditations; being both clear and easy to listen to, gently penetrating but not intrusive (thus lessening the chance of drifting to sleep).

It is easy to become so involved with just living life but these sessions reawakened my interest in all things of a spiritual matter which I realised had become sadly neglected in recent years. I enjoyed every minute of those sessions. Looking forward to the next course. Can’t wait! Thank you Cathy x
